I’m a lawyer at Morris & Player in Louisville, Kentucky. I also work for the Network Center for Community Change on issues surrounding foreclosure and vacant and abandoned property.

In the past, I have worked at the Legal Aid Society defending homeowners from foreclosure, as a Public Defender in the Republic of Palau, and as Judge Wingate’s first (and worst) law clerk. I studied English at Davidson College and law at UK.

I do what I'm supposed to do: exercise, eat healthy, go to church, and love UK athletics.

When I’m not doing that stuff, I’m probably Getting Things Done or listening to dorky podcasts.

If you want me to come talk to your local bar (or bar association), neighborhood association, or other group about any of the topics you read about here, just contact me or tweet me @notbencarter.
